October 1, 2010-   An  Annual Statement/Performance and Evaluation Report for the year 2010 has been approved by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development.  This Capital Fund Grant will be used for operations, modernization of roofs, upgrading lights in the current admin building, vinyl fencing, replacing furnaces, replacing lights for porches, purchase for replacement refrigeratior, and ranges, adding address unit numbers, and the purchase of a 1/2 ton pickup for the Maintenance Department.  Along with this Annual Plan, the Capital Fund Program-Five Year Action Plan for 2010-2014 was submitted to HUD.  To access the 2010 Annual Statement/Performance and Evaluation Report and the Capital Fund Program Five Year Action Plan click the links below.  All certification for this grant required by HUD can be reviewed at NHA upon request.

May 31, 2011-   The U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development selected Nampa Housing Authority to receive a grant, for Fiscal Year 2010, for Public Housing Family Self-Sufficiency under the Resident Opportunity and Self-Sufficiency (ROSS) Program to support the renewal of the FSSR Program Coordinator position. This grant will be effective June 12, 2011 through June 12, 2012.
August 25, 2011-   An  Annual Statement/Performance and Evaluation Report for the year 2011 has been approved by the U. S. September 23, 2011-   The U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development selected Nampa Housing Authority to receive a grant for Fiscal Year 2011.  This grant was awarded under the Resident Opportunity and Self-Sufficiency (ROSS) Program in support of the renewal of the FSS Program Coordinator position.  The expenditures for this grant will become effective June 13, 2012 through
June 12, 2013. 

September 23, 2011-   A new grant for a 3-year Service Coordinator position under the Resident Opportunity and Self-Sufficiency (ROSS) Program was awarded by the U. S. Department of Housing and Urban Development to Nampa Housing Authority.  This grant enabled NHA to hire a new employee to serve as the ROSS Service Coordinator.  Please see, "Meet the Staff", Holly Howell.  This grant will be effective September 27, 2011 through September 22, 2014.

The NHA Maintenance Department is currently converting a room for two new offices to house NHA employees for the Family Self-Sufficiency Program .  Pictured are Rudy Gonzalez, Maintenance Operations Supervisor, Roy Frizzell and John Desmond, Maintenance Technicians. 

January 1, 2012-Computers and work areas for community outreach are now provided at Nampa Housing Authority.  Computers are available free of charge to residents and non-residents during work hours. Please read this exerpt from the ROSS January newsletter that was written by Holly Howell, ROSS Service Coordinator, for more information: 

Computers: If you need to use a computer to complete Resumes/Cover Letters, fill in job applications on-line, complete homework assignments and term papers, do job searches or other research, take on-line courses, practice typing and etc. then, you may come to NHA to use one of our 6 computers, FREE of charge. All you need to do is contact Holly at Nampa Housing Authority at 466-2601. Let us know that you are coming to use the computers. Once you get here you will have to complete the “computer usage agreement”, and then you are welcome to use the computers for what you need. Computers are available (until further notice), during office hours Monday - Friday from 8:00am-5:00pm. If NHA is closed, computers are not available. Because these are shared computers, please bring a USB flash drive, if you plan to save the items you create.
